BARNRAISER DINNER 7/18/16 at 6pm
THE FOOD:
This modern day barn raising celebration will be a 5-course fundraiser dinner prepared by some of the valleys best chefs: Brian Archibald of Palo Verde at The Boulders, Charleen Badman of FnB, Chris Bianco of Pizzeria Bianco and Tratto, Jeff Kraus of Crepe Bar and Gio Osso of Virtú and Nico.
THE DRINKS:
The meal will be paired with beer and wine from Arizona Wilderness Brewing and Dos Cabezas Wineworks.
THE LOCATION:
Dinner will be held at Schnepf Farms in their air-conditioned Big Red Barn. The address is 24810 South Rittenhouse Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85242.
THE CAUSE:
Beginning in July, Steadfast Farm will be moving from it's current location in Agritopia and will begin leasing new land in Queen Creek from Schnepf Farms. This new land has great access to water and power but doesn't have any other infrastructure so we'll be starting over from the ground up. Proceeds from this event will help us offset some of the costs of setting up the new farm. We need to purchase a small barn/packing shed, cold room, greenhouse, delivery vehicle and other miscellaneous tools. These purchases are critical to our operation and will ensure that we can continue to grow delicious and nutritious produce for our community.
